Client: Design Agency – multi disciplinary, 70 users To develop a system to manage the recording, tracking and distribution of contract related documents. Issuing over 20,000 items of production based information annually, a solution was needed to ease the burden of managing this large spread of documents and drawings and to speed up and standardise the processes involved. The system also had to mesh with a well established IT filing structure and associated working practices. An audit of the system following six months use, estimated a projected saving of over 1000 hours per year across the agency for the issuing process alone. “While the savings in time and therefore money are substantial, it's not the only reason or justification for the system.
