To develop a time recording and monitoring solution that could track projects, tasks, activities and teams, as well as manage project expectations.

The system had to record and track committed time from all users, as well as calculate and track target fee hours for a complex range of projects. It was important not to develop what would be seen simply as an administrative management tool, but instead, an intuitive system that encouraged everyone to take ownership of project costs and timescales.

It is estimated that the application alone achieves an ongoing 40% reduction in time spent collating project time information compared to using the former paper and spread sheet based system, resulting in an extremely quick return on investment.

The major benefit however, is the access to real time, joined up, dynamic information that allows all parties working on a project, to see the exact up to date position.
